Isn't science amazing?

I was going to tell you all about my busy weekend, but after our ultrasound this morning, I think you'll want to see this instead.

Here is a 4D image of my future son:

They say there's a potential problem with the placement of the cord, but otherwise everything looks normal. The doctor even said our baby is cute. I think so, but I'm pretty biased.

  2. Congratulations! There's a show tune/song, I think it's from "Jesus Christ Superstar," that's very dramatic (obviously) and loud and 70s and the choir sings again and again, "A son! ... A SON!" and that's what's in my head right now: A SON! Congratulations on your cute, precious son! (And the cord will move many times between now and delivery, so don't fret.)

  3. Oh, no! It's from "Tommy!" "A SON! A SON! A SON!" (just please don't name him Tommy or I'll have to sing that every time I see him!)

  4. @Kate, Thank you!

@Lisa, Thank you for the words of wisdom. Why do they even mention stuff like that? And not to worry about the name. Tommy isn't even a consideration. Although, I wouldn't mind if you sang to him. :0)

  8. Yay! I can't wait to meet the little guy. And I have SO MANY clothes for you. I've been waiting to see whether you were having a boy or a girl before deciding whether to donate them to Goodwill.
