Baby's first boo boo
The S.O. and I haven't quite got the hang of trimming Milo's nails. Usually, we keep his hands covered with baby mittens. But this morning, during his outfit/diaper change, his hands were free and he managed to scratch himself pretty good.
I'll admit to a Mommy freak-out when I saw a bead of blood just below his eye. I'm sure the more experienced parents out there will tell me this is nothing. I know it's minor, but it's still scary.

Ah yes a bit scary. I hated clipping Wyatt's nails when he was that small. But I hate to break the news to you He's a boy and when he gets older there will be a lot more scratches and bumps and bruises.
ReplyDeleteThat *is* a tad scary. I empathize with a mini mommy freakout. Good luck getting the nail clipping figured out. Better to do it now while he's super little so he's used to it -- and won't remember if you hurt him the first couple times. :-D
